New ICT Funding Opportunities for Romanian SMEs – Up to EUR 100.000

Great news for small Romanian enterprises in the ICT sector. New funding opportunities with non-reimbursable funds will be available in the near future.

The new funding programmes are entitled “New Funding Opportunities for SMEs in the ICT sector” and are divided in two specific funding calls:
1. Software Development
•Beneficiaries: Micro-enterprises and Small enterprises
•Funded activities: Development and promotion of innovative tailor-made software products
•Implementation period: Maximum 9 months
•Grant: Maximum EUR 10.000
•Funding Intensity: 60%

 

2. Development of High-tech products
•Beneficiaries: Micro enterprises and Small enterprises
•Funded activities: Development of ICT products that use the latest available technologies
•Implementation period: Maximum 12 months
•Grant: Maximum EUR 100.000
•Funding Intensity: 60%
The programmes will be evaluated in a two stage process – company assessment and project pitch, followed by a funding application submission (if the initial pitch is approved for further review).

By the end of the implementation period, the beneficiaries will have to present their final innovative software or products.
